The Art of Rajasthani Elegance

At The Saroj Rathore, we curate the finest Rajputi Poshak — the traditional four-piece ensemble of Ghagra, Kanchli, Kurti, and Odhni. From our atelier in Chopasni, Jodhpur, we bring you handcrafted masterpieces featuring 5,000-year-old Bandhani techniques with up to 100,000 hand-tied knots, wave-patterned Leheriya exclusive to Rajasthan, and royal Gota Patti embroidery once reserved for Rajput nobility.

The Art Behind

Our Craftsmanship

Every piece at The Saroj Rathore is a testament to centuries-old traditions. Our master artisans employ time-honored techniques passed through generations.

01

Bandhani (बांधनी)

The Art of a Thousand Knots

Dating back 5,000 years, Bandhani is the ancient tie-dye art of Rajasthan. Our artisans pluck tiny fabric points — as small as 1-2mm — binding each with waxed cotton thread before dyeing.

02

Leheriya (लहरिया)

Waves of the Monsoon

Exclusive to Rajasthan, Leheriya creates mesmerizing wave patterns. The fabric is rolled diagonally, tied at precise intervals, then dyed in vibrant hues.

Gota Patti (गोटा पट्टी)

Golden Threads of Royalty

Once crafted with real gold and silver, Gota Patti is the embroidery of Rajasthani royalty — peacocks, elephants, and lotus motifs.

Zardozi (ज़रदोज़ी)

The Emperor's Embroidery

The most opulent embroidery form — gold and silver threads interwoven with pearls and precious stones.
